COMMUNITY CARE CLINIC OF FRANKLIN

  • Mission

Our Mission is to provide free primary healthcare, including education and disease prevention, to low income, uninsured members of our community.

    About Us

The Community Care Clinic of Franklin is a nonprofit organization that believes everyone deserves basic health care. We provide free health care services to adults who are uninsured, cannot afford private medical care, and live and work in our communities. We primarily are staffed by part time volunteer doctors, mid level providers, nurses, medical assistants, translators, and other community residents; as well as paid part time staff.

We operate our free Clinic on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Macon County Public Health building. We also have office space for day time hours on Mondays through Fridays, within the same building. We have been in operation since 2010.

We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses; we provide medication assistance for reduced or no cost medications; we provide education about disease management and prevention; we make referrals for lab and x-ray services; and we provide information on other available services in the community for coordination of care for our patients.
