About Us

“Manos Unidas” (United Hands) is a Peruvian Non-Governmental Organization founded August 8, 2008 that provides quality educational services on an individualized level for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy in a school setting. The project is designed to educate an expansive and diverse population of people who are directly affected by a disability and the community in which they live. Manos Unidas focuses on school and community inclusion and provides intensive training for regular education schools for receiving special needs children into regular education programs.
