As the region's leading voice of business since 1886, The SVO speaks on issues of importance to businesses across the entire Silicon Valley. Our membership ranges from large Fortune 500 firms to small, family-owned businesses. They share a common understanding: Working together, collaboratively, to protect and improve the Silicon Valley business climate is key to our future economic prosperity. Our mission is to cultivate and nurture a strong regional economy.

Our annual program of work is led by a 70-member board that consists of business leaders from our membership. Acting on behalf of nearly 1,400 members who employ over 300,000 workers, The SVO produces more than 150 programs and events annually that provide premier business connections and exposure while building a strong local economy. Annually, The SVO's resources make nearly 3.4 million business referrals to our members and the community as a whole. With our members’ continued support, we can ensure that Silicon Valley remains the best choice for business and a great place to live, work, play and raise a family.
