New Beginnings Schools Foundation

The Capital One - University of New Orleans Charter Network was formed as a joint partnership between the New Beginnings Schools Foundation Capital One Bank and the University of New Orleans. Since its inception, the Capital One University of New Orleans Charter Network has provided New Orleans' students with access to a quality pre-K through college education. The mission of the organization is to serve as a catalyst for city-wide and regional economic development. New Beginnings Schools Foundation, Capital One and the University of New Orleans have created a system of K-12 open enrollment public schools that have incorporated the best practices of higher education and private industry to ensure that New Orleans’ students are prepared for future academic, personal and professional success. New Beginnings Schools Foundation currently serves more than1,600 students at Pierre A. Capdau, Medard Nelson, Gentilly Terrace and Thurgood Marshall Early College High School.
