About Us
The Camas Centre work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Youth groups, school groups, church groups, etc. come to us for a week to experince the scottish wilderness, outdoor activities, living in community and sharing food, laughter and time toghether in a beutiful setting. A week at Camas away fro normal life, out in the countryside right by the sea can have a great positive impact on young people with challenging behaviour.
Our mission statement:
"Together we seek to enable growth in love, respect and awareness of ourselves eachother God and the environment."
Each season we are loiking for 7 volunteers to join our staff team at Camas for 4 or 6 months to create a community where young people can expereince something unique.
