HOPE FOR ORPHANS AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT [ HORD]

To provide a framework that provides a coordinated service delivery to orphans,the very poor,underdeveloped regions and other vulnerable children,rights fulfilled and their full potential realized,hope and human dignity developed and lived.

Hope for Orphans and Rural Development [HORD] is a Community Based Non - Profit Organization formed in 2010 by a few people who suffered as Orphans and they saw difficulties that Orphans face,therefore,we decided to intervene inorder for orphans to have equal rights and opportunities.

There has been rampant growth in the number of Orphans in Uganda due to high spread of HIV/AIDS that has led to the death of many parents and also insurgency in Northern part of Uganda by the Lord's Resistance army inthe last two decades.

HORD is currently operating inthe district of Kampala more especially Kawempe Division and it has extended its branch in Amolatar district - Namasale Sub- County.
