    HOPEworldwide was founded in 1991 in response to the call of the Scriptures to serve the poor, sick and suffering throughout the world and wanted to fulfill the teachings of Matthew 25 to serve anyone in need. It is through this invaluable partnership that HOPE worldwide began and continues to thrive.

    In 2020, the organization added the Bay Area to its network of city-based chapters in the United States. HOPE worldwide Bay Area is committed to serving San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and the surrounding communities through targeted, strategic volunteerism. We want to be part of the solution.
