UCLA Social Welfare Diversity Caucus

  • About Us

The mission of UCLA's Social Welfare Diversity Caucus is to promote diverse perspectives and representation throughout the school’s student body, faculty, and curriculum. The organization's main event is its annual MSW Diversity Recruitment Fair, which is designed to educate potential program applicants about UCLA's MSW program, its commitment to a diverse student body, and the field of social work in general. We define diversity in terms of race, culture, ethnicity, language, legal status, gender, sexuality, age, ability, class, religion, etc., and our goal is to encourage active participation throughout the department by everyone, particularly members of underrepresented communities.
