  • Mission

The WNY Wreckers provide the opportunity for disabled athletes to participate in wheelchair rugby at a competitive level. Wheelchair rugby is a fast-paced, heavy-hitting, high-scoring Paralympic sport.

    About Us

Founded in August 2013, the WNY Wreckers are upstate NY's only wheelchair ruby team. In the 12 years the Wreckers have been active, over 50 disabled athletes have tried the sport. The Wreckers currently have 12 active players and they host a tournament in October each year, as well as traveling to other tournaments in the region. It is our goal t be competitive throughout the league and to eventually put players on Team USA.
