The Quality of Life Foundation

About Us

Founded in 2007, the Quality of Life Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit startup that inspires youth and their families to become stewards of their environment by planting, growing, and taking care of trees. The Quality of Life Foundation began as a grantmaking foundation to support programs in higher education and conservation, including the Plant a Billion Trees campaign organized by the Nature Conservancy. This past year, the Quality of Life Foundation decided to focus its mission on designing and implementing its own youth development program and has shifted away from a pure grantmaking role. The Quality of Life Foundation has planted fruit trees (for the health of human communities) and native trees (for the health of the overall ecosystem, including plant, animal, and human communities).
