    Connect & Commit promotes community responsibility and civic engagement by expanding service-learning and community service opportunities for students in public schools in Winchester, Massachusetts. The primary focus is Winchester High School. Over 2,000 students have participated in projects on a wide range of topics. Examples include building a school store (economics),teaching English to children in China (humanities/English), creating a Victory Garden (environmental), measuring energy consumption and recommending changes (science/math), studying various diseases and raising money through creative programs (variety).
