  • Mission

    The Arc of Sedgwick County, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for 7,500 local individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through life-long support including educational and social programs, case management, respite opportunities and advocacy in the community since 1953.

    About Us

    The Arc serves over 7,000 persons with disabilities and their families through several "special project" programs. The Arc provides these individuals and families comprehensive services not limited to but including: Self-Advocates; Family Support Groups; In-service training; Case Management; Information & Referral; Mini Tours: Young Adult Club; Youth Activity Days: Circle of Friends: Cornerstone. The Arc also serves over 750 children with developmental disabilities in the YOUTH EDUCATION & SUMMER SOCIALIZATION (YESS) PROGRAM.
