C.H.A.N.G.E. Fitness - Creating Healthy Actions thru Nutrition & Group Exercise
This program is offered under 501(c)3 organization Spring Street CDC. C.H.A.N.G.E. Fitness goal is to make fitness accessible to all. Anyone on public assistance, medical assistance, housing assistance or WIC can attend fitness classes at no cost. Otherwise classes are significantly lower than the average fitness class ($5.00 per class) We want to take the financial barrier out of a person choice to get fit. We offer weekly classes and periodic nutrition seminars, we always offer the MyPlate.gov Nutrition information. Our goal is to motivate and encourage our participants to get fit, which will help them to feel good about themselves and lead them to get training or work fulltime and off of assistance. Along with those benefits health wise they will prevent future illness by keep their bodies healthy and moving!
