Woodruff School

In the reading program at Woodruff Elementary, we are looking for individuals who can give 30 minutes to an hour once or twice a week during the school day and tutor students grades 2-5 for 30 weeks. A sex offender check will be done.

These students are kids who are just below grade level in their reading skills, and this program is designed to help them get to grade level! Tutors giving time would work with one or two students through the program and in return, gain a new little friend while boosting their confidence and learn some great reading strategies along the way. Tutors are trained in the program at Woodruff. All materials are provided at the school, all we need is you! Contact Wendy Baldwin with any questions you might have.
