  • Mission

Krishna Community Center is a sacred space where all are welcome to come and explore their spiritual path. With a focus on living the ancient wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, we offer a loving environment that serves others. We aim to add harmony and peace into the world by walking the spiritual path to God together.

    About Us

Our Grand Rapids International Society of Krishna Consciousness congregation has grown steadily since its beginnings in 2011, and in August 2024, we opened our new temple space and hall, Krishna Community Center.

Our building is a historical church, where we now host all of our three major weekly programs: Transcendental Tuesdays- Devotional book study group, Thursday Night Kirtan- Singing and chanting, and Sunday Feast- Bhagavad Gita discussion, worship service, and community dinner.

We have a youth group program called Gopal Garden that meets every Sunday, and engages children and teenagers in our Vedic curriculum of teachings, spiritual truth, and devotional practices.

We also hold weekly online study groups and in-person home programs. We organize faith-based, family-friendly cultural festivals celebrating Lord Krishna, including the famous Rath Yatra.

Our goal is to share profound practices that will create positive changes and happiness from the inside out. We are excited to keep expanding our reach and serving the Grand Rapids community, feeding all with love, care, respect, and an atmosphere of family and unity.
