The Monterey International Blues Festival

About Us

In 2016, five dedicated music and non-profit veterans came together with a commitment to bring the Blues back to Monterey County. Part of proceeds raised help to benefit local chapters of the Salvation Army and other non-profit charitable partners, that help benefit and improve our community.

Colelins, and John Broadway Tucker paying to a sold-out crowd. Every year since, we’ve continued to welcome some of the biggest, brightest and freshest names to the Blues Festival.

The Monterey International Blues Festival strives to preserve the Blues, a great American music tradition, by introducing festival attendees to all of its colors, shapes, and forms, with the goal of increasing appreciation and thereby creating a new, expanded audience for the Blues.
