ANTHONY FOWLER FOUNDATION INC

AFF Inc. was established in memory of Anthony Fowler, our son, and an 'average kid’ who died in an accident in 2012. He was 11 years old and as an organ donor, provided a chance at life for 5 people and gave sight to two, the ultimate pay it forward gift. His story brought a community together to rally financial and emotional support for Anthony and our family. Being Active Duty USMC, we were fortunate enough to not need the money, so all of the money donated went back into the community.

We found during our 12 days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and while planning Anthony’s funeral and cremation there were support programs available for specific diseases, birth defects, vehicle accidents, victims of crimes etc. There were no resources for a family of an 'average kid’ with an accidental life ending tragedy. AFF Inc. is now providing those resources, brining awareness to organ donation, recognizing first responders, and providing individual youth sports equipment grants as an all-volunteer non-profit organization.
