NuclearBan.US is a partner of the International Campaign for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons (ICANW.org), the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization that helped facilitate the 2017 international Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. Our mission is to facilitate the Treaty here in the US, in defiance of the federal government which boycotted the Treaty negotiations. We are organizing individual, organizational, municipal, and state "Treaty Compliance" campaigns, consisting of education and boycotting/divesting from the companies that make nuclear weapons and those that finance them. These companies have always violated global moral and humanitarian norms, and they are now in violation of international law as well. The goal is for ALL countries to sign, ratify, and enforce the Treaty, and to eliminate all nuclear weapons before the eliminate us.
