About Us

Camp Casey is a nonprofit organization that provides free horseback riding programs for children with cancer, sickle cell disease and aplastic anemia in Michigan.

Camp Casey offers three therapeutic and recreation programs for eligible participants:

  • Horsey House Calls, the premiere Camp Casey program, delivers “horse camp” to children who are often too sick to attend regular summer camp. Camp Casey knocks at the door with a horse on the doorstep to provide an afternoon of horse therapy and fun with families and friends;

  • Cowboy Camp Outs allow for groups of families and children with cancer to get away at an authentic dude ranch for family bonding and fun; and

  • Outlaw Outings are one-day events that seek to engage past Horsey House Call families by providing access to recreational activities and events such as professional sporting games, shows, and activities.
