Mission Statement:

The mission of Play To Win is to motivate and prepare male youth, in grades 9 through 12, to embrace a set of core values and understand the importance of 21^st Century Skills that will contribute to enriching their path in life to becoming productive citizens.

Vision Statement

Play To Win (PTW) provides services to male youth who primarily reside in single parent homes and demonstrate at risk behaviors. The PTW program offers students a year round after-school program and a six week intensive summer program held on a college campus. The programming will teach students the 21^st Century Skills, create quality opportunities that relate the curriculum to real life and prepare these young men to become actively engaged in their community. Our program will include a mentor for each student, internships, service learning projects, and leadership development. The goal of the PTW program is to increase the graduation rates and to instill in PTW Scholars the desire to become life-long learners and give each of them the tools to develop a ten-year life plan that will demonstrate productive choices. We envision this model being replicated across the country in future years.
