Boxgirls organization is a community based organization that uses boxing as atool to tckle different issues affecting young girls and women in the disadvantage communities in Nairobi .It targets young girlsand young women age 7-18yrs .Its mssion is to ceate a world where women and young girls lead dignified lives in secure communicities where they are valued as equal members and have control n their sexualities .Boxgirls organization was founded because of rapid rape cases among young girls and women in korogocho slums and kariobangi area (nairobi) .The organization has used the sport of boxo give young girls and women confidence and self defence .
