Monica's House is a home for single mothers and their children. It is a program within Aid for Women, Inc., a life-affirming organization that was founded in 1978 and operates five pregnancy centers and two residential programs. Monica's House works with women to help them gain independence. The home is in need of Vitae Corps members to volunteer at the home during non-business hours.
Monica's House Vitae Corps Members live in the home and are responsible for communication of standards of living and rules for safety in the community. These female volunteers are only required to be in the building during evening, night, and early morning hours, as the home is staffed during the day by a Residential Program Coordinator. Love of the community will strengthen and shape the community and thereby the success of the mothers. Monica's House Vitae Corps benefits include housing, health insurance, phone and internet access.
