Learning First Alliance

The Learning First Alliance (LFA) is a partnership of 17 education associations with more than 10 million members dedicated to improving student learning in America's public schools.

Founded in 1996, LFA focuses on timely and important education issues including: improving teaching and learning in the core academic subject matters, fostering safe and supportive learning communities, supporting family and community involvement, promoting effective large-scale reform, and strengthening support for public education.
