Family Counseling Center of Brevard

Family Counseling Center of Brevard (FCC), established in 1964, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization certified by The Council on Accreditation (COA), National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). FCC is also proud to be a United Way Agency.

We have four office locations to serve the Brevard community in Rockledge, Melbourne, Palm Bay/Melbourne, and Titusville. We provide services on-site, in-home and in over 40 Brevard County public schools. Programs include: Outpatient Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Batterers Intervention, Victim Advocacy and Psychiatric Services.

We have 40 staff members, including 30 clinicians with Masters or Doctoral degrees and FIT Doctoral Trainees. Our clinicians represent all four mental health professions: counseling, social work, psychology and marriage and family therapy. We have expertise in many areas, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, abuse and trauma, substance abuse/addiction, family/marital discord, domestic violence, behavioral difficulties, and behavioral health.

Our clients are all ages, from toddler to elderly, and represent all socioeconomic levels. We receive referrals from a variety of community partners, including local physicians and hospitals, Brevard Health Alliance, Brevard County Public Schools, Brevard Family Partnership, Children’s Medical Services, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections, United Way, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida Safety Council, insurance providers, and other social service agencies.
