Due to past Community Partner contributions, 2012’s celebration was filled with diverse activities that attracted the cross-section of our great community. Over one thousand Maury Countians participated in the week-long scheduled events including a Youth Expo on Anti-bullying, Award Reception Ceremony, Youth Community Service-Project: Clean-up/Celebration, and a Columbia State Celebration Service, all free of charge (except the reception). We hope you join us in keeping the legacy going!

Participants from past events included County Mayor James Bailey, Columbia’s Mayor Dean Dickey, and other officials. This year Columbia native, Cord Martin, Whitthorne Middle School Band Teacher, and his band were the entertainment at the Award Reception Ceremony located at the UAW Hall. The focus of this committee is to bring this vast diverse community across Maury County together.
