Our mission is to create safe, compassionate and loving environments on Vashon Island, for adults with intellectual disabilities to live their most joy filled lives. We really value the relationship that people have with their families and creating a living environment that allows families to be close. Our long-term goal is to create housing opportunities with intentional communities here on Vashon that allow different populations to coexist and benefit each other.

We have long identified that there are no residential opportunities on Vashon Island for people with developmental disabilities.

We have already built some fantastic relationships within our community to include the county library, the public schools, grocery store and our local thrift shop. We are starting to see some amazing inclusion of this community here on Vashon Island. This is only the beginning of what I see as a real opportunity for this community and its residents.
