    Our mission is to improve the future of high school youth by increasing their success in high school today. ​Students that struggle to stay on track in high school are at risk of dropping out. We put mentors in high school classes to work with students needing extra support to keep them on the path to graduation. Don't let the door shut on these students. Join us today!

    About Us

    Since 2018, Oakland Serves has been helping high school students graduate, focusing on underserved and minority communities in which students may face a variety of challenges that impede their success. We work with OUSD, with schools and teachers to identify where our mentors can have the biggest impact on student achievement. We match our volunteer mentors with whole classrooms and with individual students as needed to increase the ability of as many students as possible to progress to graduation.
