  • About Us

MOCA is Southern Arizona’s only museum devoted exclusively to exploring the cutting edge art of our time. Through varied programs, MOCA supports the critical interpretation and display of contemporary art in service to the community as a public trust. Since beginning to program as a museum in 2003, MOCA has presented the work of nearly 250 artists and thinkers, 90% of them Tucsonans. MOCA is committed to thinking globally, acting locally and engaging with the ethics and aesthetics of contemporary life. MOCA is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, The Arizona Commission on the Arts, and its members.
