    The mission of Beyond Bars Arts Initiative (BBAI) is to harness the transformative power of art to rehabilitate prisoners by enhancing their psychological well-being and self-worth. Through comprehensive training in painting and drawing, we empower inmates to express their creativity. The artworks they produce are then gifted to individuals facing significant challenges, such as those with terminal illnesses and orphans, spreading hope and joy while fostering a positive connection between the prisoners and the community

    About Us

    Beyond Bars Arts Initiative (BBAI) is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of prisoners through the arts. Our program offers inmates training in painting and drawing, providing them with a constructive outlet for their creativity and emotional expression. By focusing on skill development and mental health, we aim to prepare them for successful reintegration into society. The artworks created by our participants are shared with people in need, including patients with terminal illnesses and orphans, bringing comfort and inspiration to their lives. BBAI also engages the public through an online platform where individuals can view and request artworks for their loved ones, creating a bridge between the incarcerated and the community.
