East Haddam Youth & Family Services

East Haddam Youth and Family Services, Inc. is a private, tax-exempt, non-profit organization which provides services including prevention, intervention, advocacy, community organization and education and positive youth development. The agency is responsible for the provision of direct services to youth and families as well as the provision of youth and family services within the community.

Mission Statement:  “To provide prevention and positive youth development services which assist children, youth and their families by creating a supportive and caring environment for them to reach their maximum potential as members of society.”

Philosophy: Everyone has the right to live in families and communities that are healthy and safe. Therefore East Haddam Youth & Family Services is committed to providing the best possible climate for maximum development and achievement for all clients and staff. Within this framework it is important to develop a spirit of teamwork, open communication and mutual respect for diverse cultures and circumstances.  The agency is committed to coordinate with all community services and resources on behalf of individuals and families to improve the community’s effectiveness and morale.
