    St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County Inc. (SVDP) is Lane County’s largest nonprofit human services organization and is known for its creative and entrepreneurial approaches to community development projects. Founded in 1953, SVDP is committed to providing comprehensive programs to alleviate poverty and help all individuals find a path into self-sufficiency. Affordable housing is one of the six core areas of our work. SVDP is a leader in the affordable housing industry and since 1988 has developed over 1,300 units of affordable housing.
