Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey

NOFA-NJ is an association of consumers, farmers and gardeners, creating a regionally based organic agricultural system which is economically viable. The corporation's goals are the following:

• Increase the number of certified organic farms and acres in organic production
• Protect the integrity of organic certification
• Provide organic farmers and gardeners with technical and market support
• Increase the sales, profits and sustainability of local organic agriculture.
• Promote suppliers of local organic products and farm/garden inputs.
• Promote consumer awareness of the benefits of locally produced organic products
• Promote a sense of community among those who support organic agriculture
• Disseminate information on legislative, regulatory and policy issues that affect local organic agriculture.
