    Best known for the annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade, Pride Northwest has a number of programs throughout the year. These include National Coming Out Day, Count on Me (a program with the city and other partners designed to help build a safe community for all), and other efforts. Our focus is the visibility and celebration of the LGBT community, and education on the issues important to our community as well as our history.

    The mission of Pride Northwest, Inc. is to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these communities.
