Care Communities

  • Mission

Care Communities' Mission is caring support for people affected by serious illness, including cancer and HIV. Our Vision is a caring community making the journey easier for those affected by serious illness.

    About Us

Care Communities provides practical, caring, and compassionate support to persons affected by serious illness (cancer, HIV, other chronic illnesses) through volunteer Care Teams. A Care Team is three to five six persons who are matched with a client (Care Partner). The Care Team provides non-medical assistance like: companionship, light houskeeping, shopping, meal preparation, pet care, transportation, and light yard work. Each volunteer is asked to provide at least four to five hours a month.
