    The Throggs Neck Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. (TNVAC) was formed in 1979 to provide prompt emergency medical care to the residents of the Throggs Neck community. Later our area was expanded to cover the Pelham Bay community. TNVAC is made up of all volunteers, and experiance is not necessary. We will train you in all aspects of the Corps.

    TNVAC members work as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's), Attendants, Motor Vehicle Operators (MVO's) and Dispatchers.

    Members agree to volunteer 2 days per month (12 hours) and must attend 50% of our General Meetings. All training is provided to you by the orginazation free of charge.
