University of California Davis - McLaughlin Reserve

The McLaughlin Reserve is a research station operated by the University of California, Davis, and is located at the intersection of Lake, Napa, and Yolo counties. The Reserve supports cross-disciplinary use of its wildlands as "outdoor research sites", and engages in comprehensive land stewardship to restore indigenous ecosystems for biodiversity, ecosystem health, and human health. The community of people at the McLaughlin Reserve includes staff, land stewards, university faculty and students, and professionals who generally require an outdoor location or the specific natural assets of the Reserve to pursue career projects. We welcome participants interested in learning about the importance of stewarding nature for human and ecological health through hands-on stewardship, science-based approaches, and education programs.
