Alliance For Kids

The mission of Alliance for Kids, Inc. is to provide innovative programs and resources to enhance Child Life services for hospitalized pediatric patients and their families. Child Life Specialists help normalize the hospital environment and prepare the children for any procedures they may encounter while in the hospital. Three notable programs of ours are Monkey For Me, Bravery Bands and the Super Serum 3D Animation Adventure. Monkey For Me provides a hospitalized child with a monkey to stuff when admitted to the hospital, providing the child with both an activity and a cuddly friend during their stay. Bravery Bands are different color silicone bracelets that represent each procedure the patient goes through during their hospital stay. And the Animation Series are videos created by Child Life Specialists to help explain procedures and visually allow the child to learn about their surroundings. We are passionate about improving the lives of hospitalized children.
