  • About Us

The Chicago Teachers Center at Northeastern Illinois University (CTC@NEIU) improves urban education by collaborating with all of the stakeholders that make up a school community: schools and districts, colleges and universities, corporations and foundations, and community-based organizations.

We reach out to improve outcomes for metropolitan Chicago K to 12 students by expanding educational options for students and their families. We create research-supported professional development for teachers and administrators.

The Chicago Teachers’ Center is part of Northeastern Illinois University's College of Education and has been working in schools for more than 34 years.
