Our county has been rated the least healthiest county in NC. We are a faith based organization. Mission statement: To support programs and projects leading toward eventual construction of a Community Wellness Center to serve Columbus County and surrounding areas serving birth throug seniors. More info can be provided upon request. Our ultimate goal is to collaborate with others in the county to eventually build a facility that will benefit EVERYONE in our community. Providing services for local schools, SCC, Red Cross, Columbus Regional Healthcare, Dept. of Aging, etc. An annual fundraiser is held each February (this year February 26th) to save toward these efforts. We apply for grants to help others in the community who are providing serves such as camps, programs, etc. to help them do good things for our county.
