Metafilter Community Foundation

Metafilter Community Foundation was created to facilitate the transition of MetaFilter, one of the longest-running online communities into a non-profit member supported model.

MetaFilter (sometimes called MeFi) is a weblog anyone can contribute a link or comment to. A typical weblog is one person posting their thoughts on the unique things they find on the web. MeFi exists to break down the barriers between people, to extend a weblog beyond just one person, and to foster discussions among its members.
