Friends of Oakland Animal Services is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization formed by shelter volunteers in 2005, to fund critical services for thousands of animals every year that enter the City of Oakland's open-admissions shelter, Oakland Animal Services. Our mission is to provide homes, health, and happiness to Oakland’s animals in need.
