Special Olympics provides continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other athletes and the community.

    About Us

    Special Olympics Chicago is one of 17 areas of Special Olympics Illinois and serves more than 4,800 athletes. Volunteers assist at competitions held throughout the year in addition to a variety of fundraising activities.
