Christian Family Baptist Church Mobile Food Pantry

Christian Family Baptist Church (CFBC) Food Pantry is a nonprofit community initiative for fighting against hunger and malnutrition. As people face both chronic and temporary hardships, we have discovered a significant need for food assistance and nutritional education in our rapidly growing community. One out of four children suffers from food insecurity. Therefore, we have partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank and Daily Bread Ministries to provide groceries, guidance and education to sustain and expand our mission and vision objectives. Thus far, from 2015 thru 2017, this effort has resulted in over 2,600 volunteers distributing over 900,000 pounds of groceries to 7,200 families. Currently, we have over 1,300 registered food recipients from our servicing community.
