St. Nicholas Cathedral School

About Us

St. Nicholas Cathedral School provides a quality education to students, the majority of whom are of Ukrainian nationality. While primarily established for the propagation of Ukrainian life and culture, St. Nicholas also opens its doors and heart to students of non-Ukrainian heritage, and has students of Hispanic, Asian and other European descent. Once a tight and well-defined enclave, St. Nicholas’ students now come from both the local neighborhood and the suburbs. St. Nicholas, located just east of Western Avenue in the heart of Ukrainian Village, is one of the very few schools that exist to largely serve a specific ethnic group. Through the school, the language, culture, religious and social customs and traditions of the mother country are kept alive. Under the leadership of Principal Maria Klysh-Finiak, the students at St. Nicholas Cathedral School receive a first-rate education, preparing them for continued success throughout their academic career.
