Activist Youth of San Diego

Activist Youth of San Diego (AYSD) networks youth interested in SOCIAL JUSTICE issues who want to make a difference locally and globally. AYSD brings together high school and college age youth and students. We work with many other campus and community groups for peace, equality and justice.

>> Help at information tables at events like Earth Day and Chicano Park Day, Martin Luther King Parade, etc. >> Attend meetings the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 PM. >> Attend the meeting of other organizations so that we support each others.\ >> Internet outreach: Create a web site for SD youth and send email info to youth. >> Sponsor multi-cultural events to build multi-racial understanding and unity. >> Network with high school and college clubs and organizations like Amnesty International, MEChA, BSU, GLBT clubs, hip-hop groups, etc. >> Work on Fair Trade issues and "no sweatshops".
