DETROIT POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE (PAL)

Detroit PAL was founded 51 years ago in 1969 and continuously strives to 'Help Youth Find Their GREATness'. We have served more than 400,000 participants in the Metro-Detroit area. With the help of incredible volunteers, we have changed the trajectory and positively impacted the lives of Detroit youth through sports and youth enrichment.

Detroit PAL focuses on more than sport, we emphasize the importance of youth enrichment programs along with encouraging our youth's athletic growth. We have programs that focus on reading literacy, financial literacy, leadership workshops, broadcasting & journalism, drones/coding, virtual conversation series with our youth, and much more!
