With our year-round venue at 580 S. Algiers in Downtown Murphys, everyone can enjoy great live theatre in Calaveras County throughout the year! Since its founding in 1994, MCT's productions have grown steadily in popularity and critical acclaim, and have become a favorite tradition for both residents and visitors alike. Murphys Creek Theatre is dedicated to fostering the development and appreciation of performing arts in and about the Mother Lode community by providing professional level public performances, staged readings and theatrical training.
