Cherryland Elementary School

  • Mission

The Mission of the Cherryland Elementary School's Food Distribution Program is to passionately pursue a hunger-free community. We envision a future in which the children, adults and seniors of Hayward do not worry about where their next meal is coming from. Our goal is to provide food and nutrition education to those in need within the community. The Food Distribution program is one initiative to help alleviate hunger and strengthen individuals and families living in Hayward and surrounding areas. In partnership with the Alameda County Food Bank, and local volunteers, we are able to make a difference in our community.
