    To inspire and guide Dallas students to excel academically, professionally, and ultimately in their communities by connecting them with local professionals through one-on-one mentoring.

    About Us

    Journey Forward Mentoring supports students of color from low-income households in Dallas who are historically underrepresented in higher education, through one-on-one mentoring and programming that is specifically focused on college and career readiness. Students are each matched with a local adult volunteer who helps them think boldly about their future and provides them with the tools they need to be successful following graduation.

    Students in grades 9-12 begin their journey with us through our Next Gen program. We continue to work with our students once they graduate through our Edge program, a postsecondary bridge program.
