About Us
RISC - Richmonders Involved to Strengthen our Communities - is RVA's powerful community of racially, religiously, and socioeconomically diverse congregations who address root causes of injustice. With 21 diverse member congregations, RISC represents over 5,000 citizens in Richmond city, Henrico and Chesterfield counties. Since 2002, RISC has won significant victories for affordable housing, education, employment, and health care. RISC continues to grow in numbers and presence across the Richmond region, with a commitment to doing justice and creating significant change for the community.
